Pastor, Stephen McDonald

Stephen was born and raised in Northwest Arkansas. He heard the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ many times in the church that he grew up attending, but it was during Christmas of 1997 that the power of the gospel sank in for Stephen and he became a Christian.

After graduating high school, Stephen went to college where he studied criminal justice and political science and eventually met his wife Amanda. Though he entered college with a desire to pursue a career in federal law enforcement, Stephen eventually found himself more passionate about entering ministry. After many talks with pastors that he looked up to, Stephen decided to change course and prepare for a life in pastoral ministry.

Stephen and Amanda were married in 2010 and moved to greater Boston in 2011. They have a son and a daughter who light up their life and keep them on their toes.

In his free time, Stephen enjoys swimming, golfing, watching sports, and reading.

Pastoral Assistant, Patrick Dibble

Patrick was born in Atlanta, GA where he lived for the first 10 years of his life. In 2005 he relocated with his family to Manchester, Connecticut. This is where he would live until moving to Amherst, MA to attend university at UMass Amherst. While at UMass, Patrick studied computer science and mathematics and was heavily involved in campus ministry.

While he became a Christian at a young age, it was in college that Patrick began to significantly grow in his faith in Christ. It was during this time of great growth that he determined his desire to pursue a future in vocational ministry. After completing his degree, Patrick began serving in full-time ministry.

Patrick started work on a Masters of Divinity degree in August 2020, and began serving as a pastoral assistant at FBC in February 2021. He is married to his wife, Katie, and they are glad to be in Scituate.
